A while back I made an alphabet magnet matching game. The simple poster was an exact match for our alphabet magnet set, and it looked like this:
After making that game and seeing how simple and fun it was, I decided that I could use that same concept for a lot of other things.
My next project was to make a matching game for Damien’s shape blocks (from Melissa & Doug’s Shape Sorting Cube).
It was another big hit, and Damien (now age 24 months) plays with it all the time.
If you have that toy, you can download the pdf of the matching game and use it with your child. Of, even if you don’t have it, you could download it and use it to help teach shapes!
