Hunter (age 7)

Hunter

About Hunter:

Hunter is my first born and is currently 7 years old. He loves to read and has been reading sight words since age two, sounding out words since age three, and reading chapter books since age four.

He also loves science and history and, depending on the day, either adores or hates math. For the 2012-2013 school year, he is in “2nd grade” but is currently working at a 4th to 5th grade level in most subjects.

Hunter plays the piano, loves to ride his bike, and find ways to earn money so he can buy more sports equipment. Some recent purchases were a golf club and ball, skateboard, and roller blades. He loves to wrestle, play outside with his friends, play the Wii, chess, create things, draw, and eat.

His personality is active, inquisitive, loving, and happy. He constantly gets compliments for his smile and happy demeanor. He is both shy and outgoing depending on the setting, and can be an ornery pain in the behind when he wants to. He is often very helpful around the house, although sometimes complains when he wants to be doing something else. He has just about the sweetest relationship with his baby brother I have ever seen, idolizes his dad, and is a sweetheart to mom (Sometimes. Did I mention he can be ornery?).
