Doman-Inspired Early Reader Book: Major Planets

Today I have a free printable early reader book that I made for my two-year-old (but is great for any age child learning how to read!)

This simple book teaches:

  • The names of the planets
  • Ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc)
  • Counting
  • Reading simple sentences & sight words

The book is meant to be printed double sided (and even has flaps so that the picture is covered while the child reads the words), or it can simply be printed on individual paper. The choice is up to you!

This book can be read by your child, with your child, or both!

Would love to hear your feedback.

Damien is currently 2 years, 0 months old

Oh what a great post. I was just preparing ahead phrases for my child. We are still on single words, but I want to have all material done ahead of time as the upcoming months will be very hectic. I love printables, much better than videos. We try to limit screen time, plus I think she is much interested on things she can touch. I would love to see more of the reading material that you showed Damien when he was 12-24 months. Even if you do not share them, maybe just a picture of the things you did with him. Thank you for this printable.

I am working on posting a lot more printable materials (for reading, encyclopedic knowledge, and others) in the near future. I’m glad you found this helpful!

I really love this. It actually inspires me to make my own. I thought it would be difficult, but after seeing your format, it really is a simple concept. Your graphics are lovely.
