Yesterday I wrote about the Major Mnemonic System, what it is, and how learning these simple concepts (and then words) can help your child instantly, effortlessly, and permanently remember anything that has to do with numbers: Math equations, formulas, dates, times, locations, PINs, passwords, account numbers, addresses, geographical locations, and so much more. Since so many things in our world are related to numbers, learning this simple system could drastically improve your child’s memory power and help them excel in school, career, and life, especially in the world we now live in where your child’s success will be dependent on how quickly they can learn, unlearn, and relearn. I promised that I would share some resources for learning “the code” and then, a list of the peg words that I compiled for numbers 0-100. (The website Rememberg.com was helpful for inspiration, although beware if you use it, as a lot of the peg words didn’t actually follow the rules) Here they are: Free pdf list of peg words for 0-100 (click here) Three free flash card videos: Next I will be posting some free printable flash cards using the same graphics from the videos, that you can use for games, practice, or teaching.
